FAQ
What is the jewellery made of?
Our pieces are made out of brass, a natural and sustainable earth-derived material and an affordable alternative to gold that has a luxurious look and feel.
The brass we use is considered "high brass" an alloy composed of 70% copper and 30% zinc and completely nickel free to prevent or avoid allergies.
The metal will lose its original shine over time but can be restored by regular cleaning.
For the posts and closings of our earrings we use 92.5% silver.
Where do you ship to?
We offer shipping to Australia and New Zealand.Do you accept exchanges, returns and refunds?
We sure do! We offer exchanges, returns and refunds within 7 days of receipt of your order.
How do we measure a ring size?
One method is to measure the inner diameter. Take a ring that is a good fit for the finger you want your ring and measure the inner diameter of the ring (in mm).
Another is to measure around your finger by cutting a thin stripe of paper and wrapping it around your finger. When you have the stripe accurately wrapped around your finger, measure it in mm.
What should I expect of my brass jewellery over time?
Our pieces do not rust or tarnish, although brass items do lose the original shine with time and use. This can be restored by properly taking care of them.
Because of the copper element in brass, you might also notice a green colour appear where your brass jewellery is usually worn. This is the metal oxidising and reacting to your skin's PH levels. It's generally not harmful or painful and can be removed by simply washing with soap or using alcohol. And if you absolutely hate it, a little trick is to use clear polish in the part of the jewellery that touches your skin.
Is it okay to wash/wet the pieces?
Yes, you can wear our pieces in the shower as well as in the ocean. We recommend to rinse the jewellery with fresh water right after swimming in the ocean to remove any salt residue. And don't forget to dry your pieces carefully to avoid water drop stains.
Please avoid letting your jewellery stay wet or moist or in touch with water when storing them.
