golden monstera was born from a love story — between two people, and between hands and material, place and purpose.

Origins

Daniel and Jenn are nature-lovers, creators and students at heart. They immerse themselves in nature and transform their experiences to timeless pieces. As nature evolves, so do the designs and the level of craftsmanship Dani and Jenn bring to the brand.

While Dani and Jenn were based in Melbourne, Australia, inspiration came in the form of a Monstera Deliciosa plant, popular for the tropical feel it endows any space it occupies. Already quite in tune with the craft of jewellery-making, the couple took the iconic shape of the Monstera Deliciosa leaf and turned it into Golden Monstera’s first signature product - the Monstera earrings.

Today, Dani and Jenn continue to seek adventures and inspiration. While they have lived in many parts of the world, they are currently settled on a tear-drop shaped island in the Philippines called Siargao, where nature is in full showcase all year round.

Philosophy

golden monstera embraces the philosophy of slow design — valuing the process as much as the outcome, and honouring the time, skill, and soul behind every piece.

The brand is committed to elevating brass as a noble material, crafting jewellery that feels sculptural, intentional, and timeless. It also seeks to preserve traditional Filipino techniques, working hand in hand with local artisans whose knowledge and craftsmanship bring each design to life.

Each creation is made to last — not just in quality, but in meaning. Jewellery that transcends trends and invites the wearer to connect with something deeper: with place, with purpose, and with craft.

Spaces

Siargao became the place where Daniel and Jenn could fully root their vision — a remote island in the southern Philippines that now holds the heart of the brand. There, they built Casa Monstera — a space that is both home and workshop, where each collection begins its journey. From sketches and prototypes to final pieces, this studio is where ideas are made tangible.

In 2024, they opened The Concept Store by golden monstera — the brand’s first flagship space — located in General Luna, Siargao. Created to celebrate Filipino craftsmanship and independent design, the store is more than a retail space — it’s a curated environment where artistry, storytelling, and community come together.
